If you want a free spot close to Townsville then this is great. It is a truck stop so don’t expect the ritz but the staff are friendly and a great one night stop over. 👍👍

We asked at the petrol Station and they told us it is okay to stay and sleep here over night, as long as we dont put a tent or something like that on the floor. A rooftent is fine.

The hot showers are clean and cost $5. When we arrived, there was room for the van. There's a shopping center across the street if you want something to eat. It's a great free spot, and the gas station has a restaurant and café.

Parking behind the gas station, not too noisy. There were non-autonomous vehicles, cafeteria, washing machine. Good evening, free spot.

You have to get there early to get a parking space. The parking lot is very clean, everyone was very relaxed, and you felt safe at all times. Highly recommended 👍🏽

Great free spot. It’s a truck stop so there’s trucks coming and going all night. Lots of room but it fills up after dark. Toilets are clean. Can get a meal and basic necessities in the shop / restaurant. Staff are friendly. Laundry in the back … $4 Was and $4 dry. $5 hot shower inside. Very safe.
