Very nice place! The shower (cold) and the toilets were very clean, no bugs, spiders etc.! It was the most quiet place, we stayed at (only natural sounds - but maybe it was, because we‘ve been the only ones there at this night). One important thing: The way to this camp site was not paved, it was a gravel path trough the forest. If it would have rained, we would have turned around with our rented campervan, but when it‘s dry, you can drive there with a 2WD (be careful with the animals running on the street!). We can recommend this place ?.

Beautiful campground with a couple of nice walking trails departing there! The creek is nice and cold and clearest water you can imagine!

One of my favourite campgrounds in tropical qld. Nice creek for swimming, beautiful forest walks, magnificent tree to see. Very quiet and secluded, which is probably the benefit of the 20km corrugated road to get here. It’s easy to get lost trying to find this dirt road. Do not follow google maps as it leads you about 20km astray on the wrong side of the river where there is no campground, but obviously lots of people have been lost there as there are multiple vehicle tracks in that area. Look up instructions on qld parks website for turnoff to campground, which is actually very poorly marked and easy to miss coming off the main sealed road.
