Turned up unannounced couldn't find anyone spoke to a permanent resident who said that they don't get out of bed until later in the day I asked him if I could just park up and wait for them to get up he said no so we just moved on a strange way to manage a Caravan Park
$25 for a powered site. We came unannounced and everything worked out perfectly. Clean showers, toilets and laundromats. Minuspoints: no wifi, traffic noices (but not to bad) and as it rained the path to the toilets were completely flooded (not sure if that's changeable)
Lovely host Collin! Great place for a one night stop on your way from Townsville to Airlie Beach (or of course on other adventures). Good facilities and a nice spacious spot.
Great, friendly stop on our way down the coast. We were even gifted fresh corn in the morning.
I agree with the comments below. Recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay somewhere nice and cheap in homehill. The garderner notice we liked mangos so we got some for free. The best mangos we had in our lives ?
Really nice stay here. Lian is very friendly and does a great job in feeling you welcome. Amenities are a bit old but work well and are very clean. Great value for money.
We only stayed here for one night but with we could have stayed longer lain is awesome she came and welcomed us in to the park and let us get settled as it was getting dark before we paid (15 dollars for two people unpowered camp site ) perfect bit of grass for our tent there is a great little camp kitchen and our door seating area and super hot showers if that’s what you are after and really clean would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the area for a while or even just a night thanks lane
We arrived here late but Lain came out and gave us a lovely warm welcome. Lain has recently bought the campsite and is doing a wonderful job. The facilities are a little dated but kept really clean so there was no issue whatsoever. The price was super cheap (15 dollars for an unpowered pitch) Would definitely recommended :)
A great place to stay with an amazing and attentive owner, Lain. The freedom camp down the road was full so we turned up at 9m to a comforting welcome from other campers and Lain herself. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are great despite being slightly dated and rustic, but for 15$ unpowered a night you won't find anywhere quite as lovely and affordable! Thanks again Lain, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Very friendly new owner at a fair price, but is still wedged between the main road and the train line.
