Very peaceful and quiet camp spot with lots of open space and skies. Surrounded by lovely horses, an emu and native birds this is a great country stay. Go and explore the river and paperbark trees. No toilet paper or bins however, so come prepared!

Great spot to camp. Travel from Mareeba to Biboohra, ample signage to station entrance. You have a choice of camp spots depending on your transportation, motorhome, van, camper etc. There is toilet and showers for those who are not self contained. Plenty of space and a river close by on the property. Fantastic hosts as well.

The great advantage of this campground is the heaps of space. The downside is that the amenities are older and dirtier than most along the highways. The leaflets with all the rules, repeating themselves, and at many places at the walls of the bathroom are very much stressing that one should pay $2.50 pp for these amenities. There seems to be some frustration with guests. Either add it simply to the fee or make the amenities worth the extra charge. For the rest and if fully SC, the spot is fine. You need the coordinates to find it though, no signs at the road.

Lovely spot, tranquility! There are a number of different spots to choose, up near the house or two different levels at the creek.

Nice spot. You hear nothing except the wildlife. 15$ for a night with shower.
