We tried to book this site online but it is booked out for months. I spoke to the ranger and there were no free sites.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Close proximity to creek swimming. Excellent walking trails straight from the campsite. Best to explore the gorge via canoe to the waterfalls. Canoe hire available through Adel’s Grove for a hefty. In saying that, we had already set up camp so the friendly staff at Adel’s Grove did deliver/pick up the oars to our campsite.

Amazing site. The river and all the walks are beautiful. You can rent canoes or go for a dip, it’s so beautiful at the falls. Lots of flies during the day but somehow no mozzies last night. They do online bookings only and it fills up pretty quickly especially now they only book at half of the campsites due to Covid.

Stayed there for two nights and were the only ones on the campsite. Everything was clean and the showers were warm due to the heat. A few tracks were closed, but there were many left to do. We went there from Camooweal via Riversleigh in a 2WD. It's doable, but check with Adels Grove how much water in the river is. We were lucky that the Wet hasn't really started yet so there wasn't a lot of water on the rivers.

Beautiful place! We've stayed here and this one is more convenient located but most of the time sold out. We've also stayed at adels Grove, defenitely worth the money for a shady spot next to the river

This place is incredible!!!! Why would anyone pay to stay 10km away when you are literally 20 seconds walk from the stunning gorge and 6 bucks a night pp. The facilities are awesome, proper toilets and showers(cold). Most beautiful place I've visited in Queensland.
