A very pleasant place, the staff are lovely and the food is very good. The view and the camping pitches are great, and the sanitary facilities are clean with hot water!

‘Beers, burgers and bullshit’ is their motto making a weary traveller presume they’re in for a friendly welcome and chat. The well kept exterior adding to your expectations. Sad to say nothing could be further from the truth. The guy behind the bar looked and behaved like he was over it. Amenities looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a month. 35$ for a Parma that was 90% breadcrumbs and 10% chicken. He’ll loan you a fire drum, ‘as long as you don’t steal it’. I begrudge every cent spent here.

Nice amenities and enjoyed a hot shower after being on the road. Dogs allowed is a bonus for us! lovely people and cute hangout in the roadhouse. Good food and nice people.

Great little spot, clean showers and toilets, friendly people. Pool table, bar and kitchen. Powered and unpowered sites. Little gold rush museum. Table tennis.

What a pleasant little place, Take a cool dip in the Palmer river, enjoy a beer in the beer garden. Good spot, no mozzies, quiet, no mobile service.
