Excellent little site. The rates have changed but $20 unpowered and $25 powered is still excellent value. It’s all for non profit too. Superb clean facilities, camp kitchen and showers are donation by gold coin. We stayed in a quiet little corner all to ourselves! British banter from check-in. Would stay longer if we could. Would come back.

A must stop, the caravan park is located in a railway siding with lots of interesting railway memorabilia for railway enthusiasts. Level grass sites, clean ammenities, meals, coffee shops, grocery shops, clothing shops, fuel all close by. A Free band was on Thursday & Saturday nights (great tunes). Very friendly and helpful caretaker.. The Ravenshoe area offers some great Waterfalls to drive to.

Reasonable fee for a powered site for 2pp. Very great deal. We arrived at 6pm and called the number on the gate and the caretaker showed up in 1 minute. EFTPOS machine didn't seem to work sometimes, so be prepared to pay cash. Very surprised to see such an old railway station being taken good care of and all amenities are exceptionally clean. Very cool during the night (as Ravenshoe is the highest town in QLD!) the town itself is quite boring though.

Very Nice Camping Area! Located between the old (not in use) rail track, very sweet woman helping you pick out the best location for your situation. Very cheap, only 12 $ per night for 2 persons! Unpowered. Shops with very good bakery and small IGA supermarket only 3min. Away.

$17/van per night powered. Excellent value, exceptionally clean bathrooms. Hot showers for gold coin donation. Laundry on site. No bookings taken, so get in early because it gets packed.

Great place and for $10 is a must. Showers amazing!! But can’t drink the water. We ate and drunk at the Hotel at the top of the hill. 2 mains, 2 scouners for $42 !! Great value and good food and friendly staff. Defo recommend. ?

The Best low cost campground EVER! We arrived two cars at dark (6pm) without booking as there is no contact number, Just got there and rang the phone booth there and two very nice people booked us quickly. It is 15$ per vehicle for powered. 10$ per vehicle unpowered. There is a nice outdoors kitchen with a fireplace to sit and meet people, Very clean toilets and hot shower !! Hard to believe something looks like this and cost so low. Definitely recommend! I also understood the money goes to Charity of some Charity origination. ***Notice that the entrance is seen from the main road and don't go down to where campermate takes you ***
