Small campground. Just for 5-6 vehicles. Lots of mosquitos. The toilets seemed good, although haven't used them to avoid bugs ?. Town is super small, just a few houses. Good location if you go on the sealion tour.
Great campground for beach and sea lion cruise access. Good rainwater but long drop toilets only. Nice fire ring with a bit of wood provided. Flies not an issue for us.
Way to many flies, everywhere no escaping them. Bbq or taps didn’t work and did I mention the flies, only stayed here for the eco tour - had a book swap probably the only good thing and a sunset over the water K&J ?
A absolutely great place to camp only one other van spent two nights 10 per night clean ‘ bins long drops clean well looked after road was in got condition thanks to grader op doing a good job
Tents can camp here as well there is a sign saying tents allowed. Very nice quiet camping area with a little viewpoint over Baird bay. Gorgeous sunset and perfect if you’re doing the eco tour in the morning as it’s a 2 min drive down the road!
Nice stop great views. Have stayed at free camps that are the same a little better!. BBQ didn’t work and bins rather smelly.
