Ladies be careful when using the amenities
Stayed for one night due to extreme temperatures (47.5 degrees in Port Augusta) and wanted powered site for air con. Great spot, right at jetty. Great camping kitchens. Good shower facilities.
Great spot to explore the local area. We stayed 7 nights and paid for 6. Clean amenities in one end of park, other currently unused area looks older. Hot showers but need a clean to get rid of calcium buildup. Power, sullage and water and able to fill tanks in van at no cost. Short walk in to town with supermarket and cafes etc. 2 pubs with good food. Friendly staff and townspeople very friendly. Recommend local Jade Miner Neil, as amazing knowledge of Jade mining and jade available for purchase
Lovely place highly recommend. Beautiful town as well The pub a must too
Expensive at $40 for a powered site when they're are no hot showers. Close to jetty and boat ramp facilities (direct access from Park). Mangrove walk was lovely.
This campground has clean amenities. Well equipped for fish cleaning and crab cooking. Avoid the Rose at the pub!! Pig on the spit Wednesday evening worth trying.
Nice campground, Dog friendly!!!, 50m from the cute historic town centre. It has a beautiful camp kitchen, amazing fish cleaning area including crab steaming pots. Nice bbq areas walking distance to the jetty.
We paid $25 per night, for unpowered. Basic gravel sites, right beside the harbour. Walking distance to the jetty, if you're into fishing. There's also a dedicated undercover fish cleaning and crab cooking area, next to the camp kitchen. Amenities are old, but clean and well maintained.
