This was by far one of the best wildlife encounters we’ve ever had! We’ve never seen so many iconic Australian animals living wild in one place — koalas (even with babies!), kangaroos with joeys, lizards, birds, and emus everywhere! An experience we’ll never forget. And to top it off, the property itself is absolutely stunning, with wide open spaces perfect for camping. Highly recommend!

The most amazing place we’ve ever camped! Around 3.5k down unsealed roads, however in the dry weather they were an easy drive in a 2wd. We were surrounded by koalas hanging out in the trees all around camp. So many roos and emus roaming around also. Facilities are ok, hot water and flushing toilets. Lots of sheep/sheep droppings but these are dry in the daytime. Would have stayed here forever surrounded by the gorgeous koalas :) they were so active when we arrived just before sunset!

Only open for self drive in winter. Some guided tours in summer. Visitportlincolnaccommodation.net.au for permit and get a gate key from them to get in. 100s of koalas!! - strictly no dogs allowed. Amazing place.

Fees are the same per car no matter how many people. It’s an old farm so no modern facilities. The shower is hot and works with gas; if you run out of it... No hot shower anymore.
