$40 a night for unpowered site. To paint a picture… it’s a absolutely stunning day I’m on top of a hill under a tree by the water, I haven’t checked out the facilities so can’t comment but I’m sure they are fine, just enjoy.
I really liked it. It's right across from the beach. You can walk to the center along the seaside, as there's a path. We paid 40 euros for a night in a place with water and electricity right on the sea.
Disagree with the comment of June 2024. Site is lovely nice grass pitches as well as hard standing pitches. We stated in the en-suite, worthwvery penny. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Really disappointed with this place. Facilities were old, tired and the laundry was not clean. $4 wash and $4 drier for one load. No way to get change after reception closed. Campground is huge and therefore a bit noisy. We stayed during a public holiday weekend and there was a lot of partying going on and a lot of throwing up. Worst part was its isolation. No takeaways near so once we had sorted our site we had to drive back into town for dinner. Personally wouldn't stay again.
Nice park, with a great view. We paid for a powered site which was not cheap, it was also uneven. So the other reviewers were right.
Beautiful campsite by the sea. Be careful because on the unsupplied places it is difficult to find flat ground. The weekend open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Unpowered pitches are on a large grassy area, but some are quite uneven as the entire campsite is on a slope. From there it is also further to the toilets and the camp kitchen. But you have a nice view of the sea. Little to no shade. Powered site close together as usual. If you only stay for a short time, you will be seated right next to the toilet block. Kitchen nearby but poorly equipped with no sink to wash dishes. Dryers and washing machines are available. Hot showers with enough space. Unfortunately, WiFi hardly worked when we were there. Very nice 3.6km coastal path to walk into the city.
We stayed in the unpowered section that was closer to the amenities with our camper trailer. Very slopey ground which we couldn’t manage to even up even using the camper’s legs. Also felt a bit like being in the middle of a roundabout with all the roads circling the small area and quite a lot of traffic. Would probably recommend the other unpowered section, even though it is a fair hike to the amenities. Amenities were excellent: plenty of showers and toilets and super clean. Three washing machines and one dryer in the laundry. Was quite exposed to south easterly winds but a brilliant aspect looking out to sea and the Pt Lincoln Nat Pk, with a jetty at the waters edge. On-site coffee van made great coffee. We didn’t check out the pool area.
Great location overlooking the sea, bit of a walk into the main town but lovely little pub ‘Beer Garden Brewing’ about 15 mins walk away. Lots of modern amenities on site, lovely clean showers with hot water. Didn’t use the pool but looked great. Powered site was all good. Concrete slab with our own water tap and power point. Unpowered would be fine for a camper but bit of a slope/rocky ground for tents. Helpful staff. Cafe and pizzas there too.
Nice spot overlooking the bay. Plenty of space per site. Cement slabs are the best and level. Only a couple of minutes into the CBD. Good fishing from jetty here. Amenities clean and tidy. Busy during school holidays.
