Heard a lot about Perlubie Beach and seen on TV. Glad we didn’t book weeks in advance as recommended. We moved on, even though there were sites available. Nice beach. 4X4 only and air pump for tyres needed.
Need a booking far in advance. We showed up and no places were available anymore for the next few weeks.
Perlubie beach Large beach that can accommodate about 20 vehicles. Toilets ?. Lots of flies. This is certainly due to the fact that the seaweed is not collected regularly and attracts them. If with the 15$ the municipality would clean a bit more, the campers would pay more willingly. Many have arrived and left the next day without paying. We had a great quiet night there to the sound of the waves with a beautiful sunset ?. Pascale & Pascal ?? #PascaleetPascalenvacances
We camped at the beach with 2wd vans, toyota hiace and mitsubishi express. There is telstra and boost reception. NO showers. There are toilets and running water but not for drinking. BE CAREFUL WITH THE MICE! We spent the night with one uninvited guest and we are still trying to get rid of him lol. This camping is my favourite spot of S.A. Beautiful sunset over the beach and waking up with dolphins swimming in the waters. Toilets clean and well taken care of.
Stayed one night but could have stayed two on the beach camping can’t beat it JW
Beautiful campground, view to die for. However the visitors dogs run around without leads. I have a small Maltese who is scared of other dogs and reacts to them. I always have mine on a lead and because others don’t we had to leave or put our little guy at risk. One blue cattle dog attacked a man and bit him twice on the arm and another was ballied up by the dog while having his baby in a sling in front of him. This dog either should not be on the beach or on a short lead at all times. I am discussed and disappointed by the outcome of this glorious spot. So sad when people don’t think of others, lucky there is other just as beautiful places to visit.
Spend a day for free. Accessible for all vehicles. Amazing view over the sea, free toilets, but no shower
Camping is on the beach however because of our set up we parked in the area on the dirt behind the toilets this provided wind protection too and it was nice and quiet. The toilets were clean and flushed with water to wash your hands (not drinking water). No shower here. Donation box here. Very busy beach camping and felt really safe. No Vodafone signal.
Really nice camping spot on the beach! 4wd and 2wd acces is ok!! There is a honesty box. The toilets are pretty clean! A lot of caravans seemed they live there for long time. Beautiful sunset! The entrance is by the town.
Beautiful campground with toilets, right on the beach, no showers. Lots of people camping here permanently it seems
