Lovely spot and hosts well worth the trip

Definitely not for all vehicles!! Drove a long way just for the place. Only 4xd can access due to steep hill on gravel road. Entrance only visible if you drive slow or during the day and no way of contacting anyone to check details. Very disappointed, Was looking forward it!! ??

An extraordinary place in the middle of nowhere, with fabulous birds, the herd of cows roaming, a view of the plain and the sea and on the other side the Flinders range... Heather and Brian are adorable and the hike on their property to go up to the Hut is great. Difficulty but the view rewards the efforts.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very friendly and obliging hosts. Wonderful place to take the swag, tent or caravan for a real station experience. Will definitely return.

Lovely spot at a private farm. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery and farm animals around. A bit remote from the main city. Long gravel road (10 km approx), but that’s why it’s special. Super clean bathroom/shower. Least to mention, the host couple was really nice.

Really great place ! $10 per person unpowered site , extra $10 for some fire food!! Great place to wake up to with so much wildlife and good facilities

Love this place! We can't get enough, our 3rd stop... The Flinders Rangers without the masses!

We enjoyed our stay at catninga homestead. Heather & Brian were very friendly. 10$ per person for a powered site close to the facilities and their farm house. Settled in an awesome landscape with kangoroos, rabits, horses, cattle and emus. Hiking with start a the farm possible. We even got a map from Heather. Would definitely stay again. :-)
