We stayed 7th aug in a powered site nice and clean good camp kitchen had a drink on the lawn nice and relaxing shop in town well stocked good value for ??
Good place to stop. Decent Grocery shop in town. Basic facilities at campground, but not all powered sites have water taps. $35 a night .
Had a couple of nights here. Lovely & quiet. The caretaker provides a campfire each night. Note re ‘cash only’. That is true on-site, but card payment can be made at the local servo. Will be back
We stayed 5th September cost up to $27.50 for two adults power and water. Nice clean amenities. Loved the artificial grass in the section near the camp fire. Great sense of humour.
Good morning all fellow traveler's. Just a little info about our little caravan park here in Leigh Creek. We are now under new management and a new caretaker. It will be my pleasure to welcome you too our park. Come and enjoy the Flinders and out back of South Australia.
Very quiet town since the closure of the mine. Most of it run by volunteers to keep the town going so there is only someone at reception between 5 and 6pm or you can pay at the local supermarket, which has most of what you could need at reasonable prices. Unpowered $10 each, kids under 5 free. Clean amenities. Good food at the pub. All the staff/ locals seem really friendly.
Stayed there 3 weeks ago great park
This place is pretty blah! Its not very pretty, but has all your main essentials, if you need laundromat/showers etc... The unpowered site was just a tiny section to put a tent up. It's right next to the highway and there wasn't anyone at reception. We tried calling but no answer. You have to go into town to pay. We didn't end up staying and decided to go elsewhere.
