The road in is a badly corrugated dirt road, way rougher than other sealed roads throughout the island. It makes for a long, rough ride. The site is nice, shady, flat and quiet with drop toilet. Possums are noisy at night. The hike down to Harvey's Return beach is short but tough. It is worth it though. There is not much else in the area and no Optus reception. The street that leads to the campsite is partly bumpy, so it's recommended to deflate your tyres a bit before driving there, otherwise you damage your cars suspensions. Okay for one night, very calm and bad signal.
It’s a NP camping spot. Need to book online. With Telstra a had a little reception. Small camping area. I don’t think much used. Hence nice and quiet. It has a drop toilet and rainwater tank. Ok for an overnighter
