BE WARNED WHEN STAYING HERE, there have been multiple thefts because the Mount Gambier Showgrounds backs onto a low socioeconomic area. We had men cut the wire fence to get to our caravan and stole our belongings. 3 bikes are now gone… No cameras and no remorse from the caretaker Dane or head office. Just a “nothing you can do” attitude

25 AD for a pitch without electricity on grass. Fresh water and a dump station are available. Short-notice booking by phone and straightforward personal check-in. Friendly owner. Showers and toilets were good. However, there are no individual pitches and therefore not much privacy.

$35 a night for powered site, grass, no concrete. Manager is very friendly, close to town, big open space. If just spending a night or two, it's perfect rather than spending $50 a night for a powered site at a caravan park.

Info on the app is out of date. $25 for an unpowered site. Shower block access is by door code no key required anymore. Caretaker is very friendly and considerate. Good amenities. Low light levels which I appreciated. Quiet spot to spend the night!

We were traveling through Mt Gambier and only needed showers. Caretaker was very helpful, $5pp, then we were on our way again. Showers are good, plenty of room to store your clothes etc, nicely tiled. It says to pre-book but we didn’t see a number here; it’s: 0408 492 182

Stay 3 nights here. Good showers and toilets. Friendly manager. Cost $20 for unpowered site. No kitchen but power available in Tv lounge for electric jug or toaster. Would recommend for cost conscious travelers.

Es sind mittlerweile viele Plätze und unpowered kostet nun 20 Dollar, auch kein Deposit für Schlüssel mehr. Es ist eine Wiese ohne Schatten.

Great place! Caretakers we’re very friendly and helpful. Amenities spotlessly clean. Paid 15$ per night unpowered for the two of us.

Great place to stay while we waited for our COVID test results. Typical show ground but only 8 sites. Very friendly host caretakers who make sure the modernised amenities are kept the way you would expect. Good value.
