Unfortunately we had a really bad experience at this Campground. The owner was very unprofessional and was posting private data on the web because we did give them a 2 Star review on Google. But that was not all, their response on Google to our review had a bit of everything that we think can and should not happen to any customer of theirs. Go and see the review on Google and you see what I'm talking about. NOT RECOMMEND!
We loved it. One night was definitely too short. Very frienfly owner lady. Wonderful setting. Spotlessly clean amenities. So many pademelons at dusk. Truly a magical place!! ?
Super nice owner Paid for an unpowered site for 3 people. A little too expensive. Clean facilities, unfortunately no wombat but a lot of wallabies
We had a good overnight stay. Barbra was pleasant and very flexible with where we put the van. Nice and peaceful spot.
Office only open until 5pm. No chance to check in later.
$1 BBQ. $1 showers Probably cost us $40 all together to stay the night. Out of the way.
I can see the attraction, but it is more convenient than beautiful. I mean the facilities are cleaned and well maintained, also a kitchen, playground and many more things are provided, but nevertheless overpriced. Paid $49 for a powered site and the showers still are an extra $1 for 5 min. April seems quite which is nice. Wombats Are freely running around (but are unfortunately very sick at the moment - sacroptic manage, but they seem to be taken care of by a local fundraising) mainly long term campers here which makes it seem to be very isolated and does not have the welcoming tracing charm. A big open space with a lot of powered and non powered sites. Tents allowed but no pets. Free wifi. Dump site available. All in all a nice site, but by far not the best I've seen around north Tasmania.
Well maintained campground a bit off the main routes and therefore also in the high season (January) not crowded. Facilities very clean. Very personal care by the owners. Wombats, wallabies, possums and wild chickens up close!
We paid 30 for two people, powerd. But the wombats are walking around and even in the evening you can open you're van and they come real close.
Good and clean facilities and friendly service for late arrivals. Showers are 1 dollar and we payed 35 dollar for one night. For us this was quite expensive but that is because don't use all the facilities they offer. Location is next to the beach, 5 minute a from greens beach and about an hour from Launceston. Would stay again.
