You can walk to the platform to view the falls easy enough. Many steps to the base of the falls. Need to have good knees to do that! These falls are the largest in the Grampians. They are spectacular and worth the effort to go down to the bottom if you can get back up. Short drive from here to the Balconies formally called the Jaws of Death. So you can do both

Large waterfall, even in the dry season

Beautiful waterfalls, about 700m from the car park, with 260 steps. In the top!!!

Best view is from the overlook because you see the bigger picture of where the waters come from. And I got photo here of the fabulous little blue wren.

Good walk to the Zumsteins from base of the waterfall. There are about 250 steps to the bottom. Best waterfall in the Grampians. Lots of short lookout walks too. Also flush toilets.
