NOT free - says on one sign when you enter that it’s $10 per pitch, then when we went in it changed to $20 per night (decent value for showers and toilets included, toilets are freezing cold at the moment though it is July), we asked how much if we wouldn’t be using the facilities just stopping over for the night, told it was still $20. Obviously this is still reasonable and the lady who served us was nice, but we were expecting a free pitch as it states on here that it’s a free camp.
Great spot with very friendly locals. $ per person if you’re not self-contained. Hot showers and clean toilets. Surprisingly good menu at the pub bistro.
Now $20 to stay including hot showers and toilets. Locals friendly, nice grass paddock behind the building, quite flat. 12/1/23
Great place to stop for a few days or a few weeks. Pub is fantastic and food is even better.
Very friendly staff and good beer. Really enjoyed staying here with our two toddlers. They even have a great playground for the kids!
Very nice spot with friendly locals and reasonable beer prices at the pub. Food was very nice in the bistro. Showers and toilets were $5 for a key . You can stay aslong as ypu want and keep the key for the duration of your stay. Friendly cows came to visit at night. Fires alowed.
Nice grassy spot to camp on flat ground toilets and $5 showers are clean. Bistro does not open every night please check their website.
A very interesting camp in a grassy field behind a community owned pub and restaurant. I chatted with friendly locals over a beer. It's $5 for a key to the restroom but I didn't take them up on it. Plenty of space so if you are in the area it's a great free spot.
Stayed on 21/10/17 all staff friendly good camp excellent meals at hotel would recommend The Queenslanders. ??
