Quiet, nice place, unfortunately very expensive, but everything was clean, kangaroos, ducks and kokabuura were all there!
beautiful facility in the middle of nature, lots of ducks and cockatoos; unfortunately the washrooms will be locked and cleaned the hour before check-out
the view was good . but no power site available . can't find a dump point for toilet.it's $65 for a small family of 3.
Not too expensive and the showers were great after a cold surf! Picturesque site looking on to the waterway with majestic cliffs above. Great to relax by a fire and watching all the kangaroos, ducks and cockatoos. Short walk to the beach. Limited wifi - but no one cared! We spent 2 nights here because it was so beautiful.
This spot is awesome ! We had an unpowered site right on the river. Sucks birds and kangaroos all around. Really cool rock escarpment on the other side of the river. Walking track to Sheila falls and the surf beach across the road. Only 7km from town and WAY better than the caravan van park in Lorne. Food at the kiosk and fire pits and timber on every site ! Highly recommend.
Great scenery, lovely staff!
Staff were great, there were some loud families in some of the cabins and they moved us further away when they realised our camp spot was near them (before us noticing)! Lovely hearing the creek at night as background noise, lots of full sized kangaroos. Reasonably priced firewood and kindling with moveable fire pits for every couple of sites. $30 unpowered site for one night. Toilet block has codes to get in for female and male side, and has two toilets and two (5 minute max) showers plus a disabled stall with both. No kitchen but sinks to wash up in and covered flat BBQs (like the ones you’d find at a beach). Will stay again :)
Staff very unfriendly (not even a hi), only 2 showers for all the camp and you have to pay 20cents for 5 minutes of hot water. It’s a shame for this price because it’s a beautiful place... You also have to pay $20 for the wood.
$40 too expensive for an unpowered site. Fresh water available but the color is slightly yellow. Don't lose the code for the gate, otherwise a new one costs $10.
40$ for unpowered site. Unfriendly staff, no kitchen, dirty BBQ, dirty coin operated showers (they close showers and toilets for two hours for cleaning, but no idea when the showers were cleaned the last time), no WiFi. Very noisy place, we couldn’t sleep. Avoid this place.
