$10 per night per person. U16 free pay in town
Great spot on the lake. Large site with plenty of room, you can camp right on the waters edge however it’s not a beachy edge to the lake so hard for swimming. Dogs allowed on leash. Toilet facilities are basic but all you need. Jetty & a boat ramp for water access, and a very small sandy beach area.
Nice spot right on the lake and direct access to the boat ramp. BUT- The rubbish bins were overflowing and considering there were 30 or so campers there at the same time, who I assume were all paying their site fees to the cafe in town, you’d think the camp manager might consider checking the bins to see if they needed emptying before everything blew out and around the camp. The single unisex shower was out of hot water and as a result was locked, so a cold shower wasn’t even an option. The toilet block absolutely stunk and is in desperate need of revamping. It was dark and dingy and left me feeling yuk. I don’t mind paying for a site but I would have thought that basic things such as rubbish removal and cleaning of toilets wouldn’t be too much to ask. Disappointing, I wouldn’t return.
Great spot right on lake, 7 camp sites. Toilet block not that clean & shower where you go into town to buy a token $2 for 5 mins. BBQ & fire facilities at each site. Out of date info on here, $10 per person per night. Pay at cafe in town. Expensive for not much but a nice area. Small town 4kms away with pub.
This is a gem! I hope that the locals and future visitors continue to treat it respectfully as it is well worth hanging on to. Thank you. The only downside - I couldn't find a dedicated washing up water disposal point for those of us who camp or who do not have self contained facilities. The current choices are either down the toilet, down one of the toilet block drain holes or on the ground well away from the lake. Otherwise, it's beautiful.
Great little camp. Right on water. Clean amenities. Honesty box would be good. With a van on and rolling in late, one doesn't want to go back into town to pay.
