The best wildlife experience in Victoria! 4 koalas right at the picnic area, 2 emus cruising around there. Encountered an echidna and eastern grey kangaroos on the walks, as well as other emus. Visitor centre is closed due to renovation atm.
A MUST stop! We saw 3 Koalas in the trees and 2 emu’s waking around. There is a road where you can do a complete loop. No pets allowed. The rockery is also a treat for the eyes.
Definitely worth visiting
We saw 10 Koalas, 3 Emus and lots of birds and skinks. We have already seen some Koalas from the car ... The way to get there is definitely worth it. Great souvenir shop with info in the middle of it. A donation would be nice!
Cool place, definitely worth a visit to check out the wildlife. The emu's will harass you for food though.
As soon as we parked the car at the visitor centre, there was emus and a koala in the tree Good drive around the island. Good for kids
Beautiful place to see wild life in their environment. Very friendly staff at the visitors center.
Great place for wildlife. Also a great gift shop focused on indigenous artists - great place to buy gifts
Good stop on the road, very nice with picnic area, cafes, souvenir shops, walking paths. We could see emus, koalas, kangaroos .. If you go on the road it's worth it!
Great place for wildlife observation !! Saw a koala as soon as we entered the reserve (100 m after entrance on the left hand side). Then we saw another koala right on the car park, asleep, up in a tree, next to the visitor center and a lot of emus. We did a 30 min little walk around the crater called journey to the last volcano loop + 20 min around lava tongue boardwalk where we saw 2 copperhead snakes (very poisonous but no worries we were on the bridge and they were sleeping down in the grass) + another sleepy koala. Going back to the car park we saw a well hidden in the leaves 4th koala that was awake and feeding himself ??! Super place, highly recommend tower hill reserve !!
