Very run down, showers and toilet stalls have doors low enough to look right over for anyone 1.70 and over. Has rustic charme otherwise but very poor noise isolation and incredibly loud people both nights I stayed here. Perhaps bad luck about the others but still wouldnt recommend Cheap for the area but unless you really cant afford it elsewhere, dont come here
To avoid. We booked an unpowered site for one night, the price was quite attractive, but already high for the type of service. Whether it's the access roads or the share buildings (kitchen and toilets), nothing is well maintained. You have to pay to use a fire pit and managers are not friendly at all ("crusty" to say the least!). Reception is only open from 9am to 10.30am, and booking can be made online only, but be careful before 4pm! If you don't, you'll be thrown out like dirt.
Called camp crusty, and sadly it's not ironic. Lives up to its name in full with run down amenities, wasp nests seen on the site, not very clean kitchen area, not much to do around camp, and you have to pay to use a firepit. If it was much cheaper, I wouldn't complain but at competitive prices, it's not something I was satisfied with.
Set in a lovely bush setting with an old Australian pioneer feel with a run down look which however keeps the run down look in the amenities too. Very old. Very expensive at $57 for a Powered site and little on offer at the park (and old). But I have been told that this is 'cheap' for Bright. Nice area, peaceful and quiet but run down. (It is now called Camp Crusty)
*shared large kitchen/dining room, very run down but serves its purpose. *laundry facilities (coin operated) *bike wash *clean toilets/showers *fire pits for hire *not pretty on the eyes but its got everything you need.
