Free powered sites, amazing, yes it just a car park but hey, for a stop over or even 2 nights ...walk thru to pub and foreshore...great little spot We had a meal at the pub.. great, modern. Pizza 👍 Seafood linguine best l have had👌 good prices. Free powered... unheard off , thank you so much
Very good place to spend the night. Access to electricity, water point, garbage cans, shower and toilet free for the first two nights. The ground is flat and gravel, there is a small garden table to eat outside. There is even the possibility of borrowing a kayak for free from the tavern. I recommend 100%.
Such a beautiful place! The campsite is free for the first 2 nights then 50 dollars per night after that. They had toilets, warm showers, drinking water and powered sites for free! And the pub is a 2 minute walk and right on the lake which is so pretty. The people at the pub were really friendly too. Would absolutely stay here again!! A little gem.
Amazing free camping right in the middle of Lake Tyres. Perfect for backpackers and those on a budget. Go to the Lake Tyres Beach Tavern to ask for a spot and get directions. It’s basically a converted carpark. There are two toilet/shower rooms plus a few picnic tables and some small grassy patches to chill on. Short walk to the beach and the Tavern. Great little find - just don’t expect space or solitude!
What a great find! Free power and water. We had take a way diner from the pub. Directions on Campermate not completely accurate.
Thanks a lot for this place! It's amazing, you can park and enjoy power, toilet, shower and water all for free! Nice to go and take something at the bar for thank them About ten pitches on gravel, the car park is in between houses in the middle of Gully Road
Free camping pitch, a kind of car park with toilets and hot showers, 2 steps from the sea.
Great powered site and free for us as well! The previous comments describe what is there so I won’t repeat it. HOWEVER the site is wrongly marked on this app, it’s on the other side of the main road in the village. We’d recommend asking for directions in the pub!
This campsite was awesome. The campsite was free, we just popped into the tavern to let them know we were there. There was toilets and hot showers, A laundry room and a BBQ area. The tavern did good pizza and beers and next to the tavern was a coffee shop where we got breakfast in the morning served by the super friendly owner.
It's unbelievable that something like this still exists in the world! Stand free for a day or two, then pay afterwards. Nice warm shower, electricity, water. Do you need more? So far the best campsite, we'll be back!!! thank you thank you thank you
