Such a peaceful place to spend the night. Surrounded by the sounds of nature - kookaburras, magpies and the wind. No toilets tho.

Upon arrival it seemed a nice quiet lay-by. However at around midnight a truck full of men drove aggressively in, skidding and revving the engine. (We also had this at the near by bullock island in Lakes Entrance), men in a truck terrorising campers. Swearing, shouting, reviving engines and intimidating. Would not recommend as the area did not feel safe for an overnight stay. We left.

Pay attention , theres 2 entrances. Good for 1 nigh, i put my tent under the cover with my motorbike

Very quiet car park in the forest, k

In self contained van ( although our 12v house system is broken) was a quiet stop for the night.

Bit of a bumpy, muddy road to get to the site but it's well worth it.
