All facilities good. Bore water.Office closed for lunch opens 1300-1700 otherwise opens 9am.-12 Beware the road if you are coming from the west. There is a section about 50-60kms from Mt Augustus that has very sharp rocks. Flat tyres are common.Repairs can be done at the campground. Definitely need spares x2.
Spent 3 nights here - wish it had been 5! From initial contact, the whole park crew have been very helpful, friendly & accommodating. The park is well laid out, with spacious sites & when it’s not busy you have the luxury of choosing your own site. There is plenty of available information regarding road conditions, closures etc. Fantastic facilities that were always clean & well looked after. The restaurant/bar is a welcome spot after a big day hiking! Recommend to all & will def return ?
Stayed 3 nights all good bore water but just okay to drink everything else was fine JW
Great place nice green lawn very clean everything? food shop got most things ? even a dog sitting service would come again ?????
We paid for an unpowered site for two people. It was okay for one night. Toilet and showers were clean. No WiFi and no internet reception with Telstra. You can make a fire and you have a view on mount Augustus.
We paid for an unpowered site. No Wifi, as it is broken and won‘t be repaired, as it never worked properly. No drinking water only bore water. At camp kitchen nothing worked properly. At night we were visited by some cows, that‘s normal, the staff told us.
Very nice park right on Mount Augustus. Everything was very clean and well maintained, friendly staff. Arrived very late and got a parking space easily (billing only the next morning. Unfortunately, gasoline was very expensive
Great place to stay while visiting the big rock. With circles of grass to out the swag out it was a welcome change from dirt. Great location to camp and have the view across the rock and at $11 per night for an unpowered site you cant complain. All in all a good place to stay for a couple of days while exploring mt augustus.
Lot of space. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean toilet and nice shower. Cool summit track to the top of Mt Augustus. Fuel a bit expensive $2 p/l. No drinking water.
