Road had mild corrigations but we didn't even put our tyres down, it was fine. Lovely space with plenty of sights close to the water, there were other campers there but it's very spread out. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. We had a lot of wind so no flies or mozzies. Bin and dump point but no other amenities. Will stay again.
If you've got the setup to be self contained and love the idea of catching your own dinner. Then this place is perfect!
Sign at beginning of turn off saying road closed. A local stopped for me though and said you can get down here. About 10 people parked here. Nice to get off the side of the road but I won't be swimming in this place
Interesting road going out. Lots of sand. I wouldn’t so much describe it as a beach as a swamp haha. Bit smelly but not too bad. Flies and mosquitoes intolerable. We had to sit inside all night. But cool to be alone rather than in a campground with 200 people :)
The way there was awful - no recommendation for cars with 2wd. We were the only ones there and it was actually a bit scary. To pay, we have not discovered anything. The sunset is beautiful. In the morning we got stuck in the sand with our camper and had to be pulled out by two helpful Australians.
5.50 per night per person on the beach I'll take it! :)
This is definitely not suitable for caravans and it's not very nice down there at all. A waste of time.
