Accessible in 2wd but approx 10km on unsealed roads that you need to be careful on. Brett & Tess were the camp hosts at Mia Mia campsite beside here, very welcoming. Beach access from Mia Mia allowed for a stunning sunset. Flies are mad but that’s everywhere at the moment. Drop toilet and kitchen facilities very clean. No rubbish bins
Originally planed to stay at Cape Le Grand but all sites were fully booked so we decided to head towards Cape Arid and stay at Mia Mia! This was the best decision ever! What an amazing spot and national park! The sites were very well sheltered amongst banksia trees and nicely spaced. 2 camp kitchen (sink, stove and gas bbq) and 2 (very clean)bush toilet blocks. Stayed 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The view from the lower camp kitchen is breathtaking. The coastal trail leading to Tagon bay so easily accessible from camp. The camp hosts were very friendly too! 10/10!
This is a great campground and as Lucky Bay is usually booked out and overcrowded, this is the place to go to. Beautiful and picturesque white sand beach. Nice and spacey sites. Caretakers are very friendly and helpful! Clean drop toilets and tidy camp kitchen.
Close to the river and beach, clean and well maintained campground with basic facilities. It can access by low 4WD, and should be okay for 2WD in dry season (only to the campground not to the beach).
Beautiful camp site
