Stayed here on our way to Mitchell Falls..Has a bar need to book ahead by 2pm for restaurant dinner meals, Shower and toilets need more frequent attention. Unfortunately some peoples habits are less than desirable and this detracts from the overall presentation of the camping experience. $5 for washing machine

Arrived at 5.20pm planning to have dinner at the ‘restaurant’. The station refused to serve us dinner even though we made the trip and stayed there especially to eat. Very disappointed.

$16pp per night with hot showers and flushable toilets. Additional $16 for powered site. Laundry facility available. Buffet meal available $38pp for main meal only. Pretty average pub style meal but great location and well run for remote area.

Miner's pool is an idyllic spot perfect for bush camping if you want to listen to the nature sounds

This place is a very welcoming stop on the way to and way back from the Mitchell plateau and great amenities
