Nice place, but HUGE and unfair prices. AUD 137 for an unpowered spot for a car. 4WD mandatory to access the site.

A very big amusement family park, way to expensive for an one night stay for travelers. That’s mainly because you have to pay for a permit: $26 p.p. for seven days; for the sightseeings on the property. The campsites are nice and shady. But yes, it feels like a tourist trap, all the tours, bars, restaurants, helicopters etc. All together we payed 90 dollars for the permits and an unpowered site for just one night, and that includes a 30% off for end of season.

Large camp-site, good size sites. No powered sites. They need more toilets and showers for the number of campers. And watch out for when they clean the ablution blocks, sometimes 7 or 8 in the morning! Ridiculous time. Enjoyed our stay 👍

People from Sydney will get this reference. ElQuestro is the Bowral of the Gibb River Rd. Still, worth doing and a nice stop after being on the less travelled/resourced areas.

This place is really commercialised - feels like a tourist trap, or a cruise ship even! It was very very busy and full of families with young children (ie screaming kids everywhere). Staff not particularly friendly, but we were surprised the prices at the bar and restaurant were not crazy expensive. Showers are great. The roads are totally fine on the way in and throughout the Gibb. Pay the entrance fee for the gorges (don’t miss those) and sleep elsewhere if you prefer peace and quiet

Road in, fine, in comparison to the Gibb RR! Sites, dry grass cover, open sunny areas pick your spot (unpowered) for us. Expensive but the washing machine seemed cheap! Gorges and hikes, brilliant. Kids had a ball at night time happy hour playing soccer and footy with the hundreds of other kids of all ages. We had a tyre repaired here, too. Bought a loaf of bread and filled our tanks with drinking water. Very convenient stop for us. Loved the hot springs! So yes, we’re happy we dropped by!

Would highly recommend to families / tour lovers, horse riding etc but some gorges just way too busy, don’t know if its only this busy in school hols but entertainment and walk to and from gorges nice but way too many people in small area like Zebedee. Emma Gorge at least room to swim and is beautiful. Some gorge carparks full and hard to get into and if short on time cant go back as suggested on signs..... Plenty of toilets/ showers / bar/ meals onsite etc creek crossings into camp and challenging trek to some gorges (or deep, and snorkel highly recommended) plus park pass to get into required, not covered by NP pass...

Beer and singer was good. Campground and the access to the gorges are overpriced.

Showers were good. Disappointed about no fridge in Camp kitchen. Check in lady pleasant. The gorges are lovely but if your car has no snorkel then it limits the gorges you can go to. Only small amounts of water everywhere as nearing the wet season and no rain for 2 years. Loved Emma Gorge,Jackaroo waterhole , Champagne Springs and El Questro gorge. I feel the National Parks do as good a job without the huge costs and infrastructure.
