Very well welcomed and looked after by the awesome staff crew of Fitzroy Lodge and had such a pleasant stay! Powered site, next to amenities and camp kitchen, both very clean and well equipped (kitchen). Lovely wildlife around, pretty sunsets by the river. The pool is such a great addition too!! Restaurant and bar are so vibey, nice music, food and drinks! Strong security patrol at night, however the campsite is safe and quite relaxing. Definitely recommended! Claudia&Claudia 🇦🇺🇮🇹

Unfortunately, the many negative reviews are accurate. Dirty toilets, dirty showers. Outdated facilities. No dump point (!!), a filthy grill – another flaw. Cold and equally dirty pool with milky water. The best thing is the gas station, which claims to be the cheapest in town. $60 is way too much for that. On top of that: poor Wi-Fi and only Telstra coverage.

A good place to stay the night between Broome and Kununara. Park like setting beside the river. Reception was very helpful. Clean ablution block. Walleroos hopping about the campsite dawn and dusk. Would recommend stopping here.

This place has been left to rot! Just arrived in motorhome. Gents amenities block is the worst I've seen on my 12 month tour. Pool is a long walk from powered sites ($60 for 2 people, 1 night) Grounds are unkempt, can't wait to move on. Don't bother coming here!

116 $ AUD for a powered site and 4 adults, so far so expensive. For that amount I would at least expect clean amenities, but no. I think these were the dirtiest toliets and showers we've seen on our trip so far. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, also spider nests and eggs. You couldn't put you toiletries anywhere without getting them dirty and your clothes dusty from the hooks and walls. Maybe they take better care of the facilities during the high season but that was just disgusting!

We don't understand some of the other comments. It's a great campground. Staff very friendly and flexilble. (We had engine breakdown and had to extend our stay several days) Facilities are nice and clean. Nice (cold water) pool, which was nice with the hot temperature when we were there. We payed AUD 60 per night for a powered site. (And not 120 like some other comments say) Right besides the Fitzroy River. Foodtruck present. Restaurant present and a Bar.

Completely overpriced campground. $56 for an unpowered site and $120 for the powered site. We didn't even pay that much at the Yulara Resort (Uluru), and it was in much better condition. Positive: The food was good.

1 night unpowered for 2 adults (56). Powered should have cost $120. Unfriendly, and the entire campground felt unsafe. Police patrol every two or three hours. Bathrooms and showers were old and dirty. Never again, a shame. It was a recommendation. Only the food at the bar was OK!

Huge site right next to the river. Pay attention to evacuation in the event of heavy flooding. The swimming pool is nice. There were lots of big cicada insects. They warn to be careful at night to close the camper van properly. But quiet night, without noise. No wallabies or cockatoos. But a magnificent storm 😅 wifi is only available at the reception level where you can eat elsewhere (Sunday brunch!)

Great campsite full of kangaroos and black cockatoos. Facilities ok, quiet and spacious.
