A great overnight stop. Although there’s no grass, the park is clean, tidy and has all the facilities you need. A real bonus is that the washing machines and dryers are free. As bookings are handled through the Rocklea Palms Motel, we arrived late, parked first, then paid the next morning. The motel staff were delightful and very helpful. Excellent stop for a night! Reasonable fee for power site. You need to collect the key for the shower in town. Clean and quite. It’s a good place on the way to Karijini.

I think the negative comments for this site are a bit unfair. We had a really great night here, it’s only $25 and for that you can have a hot shower, do all of your washing and drying and use the bbqs. If you are on your way to Karijini it’s a great stop as the only place in the national park with showers is $40 a night. It’s not your typical caravan site but it’s well maintained, and the mining town was something different and interesting.

Sufficient spot if you don’t make it closer to the Karijini Nationalpark or coming from there. We were the only campers on one of the ten sites. Hard or impossible to get pegs into the ground, if travelling with a tent. Clean sites and clean bathroom facilities! No kitchen though (at least we found none). Has a very nice playground, which looked like it’s hardly used. We had a very big and delicious breakfast at The Village (behind reception where you check-in and return the keys). Just ask for the breakfast buffet, AU$ 19/p.p., but only until 8am, so be quick.

Very clean and functional. Free laundry. But we did miss The atmosphere.

A great spot to catch up on the washing, etc, with the bonus of a well maintained free laundry. $25.00 is good value for money in this area.

Still $25 powered site, clean, tidy and well maintained. Collect key from hotel in town ($25 deposit) great showers and loos, again clean and FREE washing & drying facilities. Good stop for a night.

Great park, as previously said book in town, $25 deposit for laundry and ablution block. Free washer driers and all modern and functional. Ablution area very clean and neat. Good TV reception. The whole town is neat and tidy with lots of grass in town. The caravan park is all bitumen and coarse gravel but neat as a pin.
