Pretty nice place, although you cannot get right to the lake at the moment as that part of the path is closed so there’s 20% off entry. Nice walk takes around 2 hours start to finish with stops for pictures. In my opinion, not much worth seeing after inferno lake which is not far from the start. Lakes are beautiful, but I wouldn’t come back.
Really amazing place! Check Bookme for offers, the boat tour is really nice but wouldn’t rave about it. Give yourself plenty of time to walk through
Really nice walk. Rates are down to $30pp, and the inferno lake is actually that blue. Would reccomend the walk at that price.
Amazing place! Stunning scenery, loads of different types of geothermal activity and really good information. I have visited this place a few times now and would definitely go back again
We had a fantastic mid-week visit with hardly anyone else around and did both the walk and boat ride for a discounted rate. The walk is a wonderful native bush lined track past lots of amazing geo-thermal activity and thoroughly worth doing. The boat cruise was quite good too and we saw some additional geyser activity but if you have limited time/cash then just do the walk.

Spent 4 hours in the park. We did the hike. The visitorguide that you get from the office is very good but the boadtour is not worth the money so don’t do this. Most of the highlights are gone by the eruption or are under the water. So it’s only an expansive board trip on a lake. All the rest is great !!
Absolutely beautiful! Worth the money to take the walk, and there are different paths off of the standard trail you can take (uphill hike or wetland walk). I didn’t do the wetlands walk, but the home was beautiful. We got to see a lot of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Their gift shop was pretty cute as well ?
I booked with bookme. But anyway the track more than worth its costs. At the end you have the chance to go on a lake cruise. I was alone on the track (I recommend to start at 8:30am to not be rushed by others). Amazing views, easy tracks. I spend 3h here and had a nice chat with the bus driver!
$ 65 for 2 people, I find rather expensive. The park is very pretty to see, too bad we arrived in the late morning and there were a lot of people ..
