Highly recommended, such experience in learning part of NZ history among the real things. And it's free. Can't get better than that.

Very rich and interesting museum. A beautiful collection of legendary aircraft in immaculate condition and a pleasant space for visiting. The staff are also very friendly.

Fab museum! Very interesting. Even for me who normally doesn’t like this sort of stuff. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Good facilities. Clean and a lot of information. Definitely worth a visit!

Pretty cool showcase of a lot of military airplanes. Do a tour of their behind the scenes to see even more. All for free. Try their simulator for 6 nzd for a fun little game and support the place. Good food in the Cafe and decent wifi.

Very interesting museum!

Nice way to spend an afternoon for free. Loads of aircraft to look at with information. The flight simulator was good fun and if you take the free tour then there are some extra aircraft not on display in the main museum.

We were there on a rainy day. It was really interesting to learn something about planes and the history of NZ. There is also military stuff. The entry is free. The flight simulator in the entry hall was fun, too. I would recommend, 6$ for 5 min fun.
