As a foreigner this was a great place to learn the history of Aotearoa and gain a deeper understanding.

The ticket for international travellers is 60$, NZ residents pay 30$. 60$ is more than what I'm willing to pay, so I walked away.

Must do if your anywhere close. I'm a kiwi, and this is by far the best guided tour I've been on. With a welcoming on to the marae. Awesome guide, knowledgeable and very helpful. Allow 3 hours.

A must do if you’re in the area. The ceremonies and guided tours are spectacular, can’t experience anything quite like it elsewhere I believe. All the staff are very knowledgeable about the history and native flora & fauna. Can easily spend 3+ hours there so give yourself plenty of time

Loved it. We spent 2-3 hours and could have spent more. Really well done, informative a a balanced history ( our history) a pleasure to spend time at. Would highly recommend

We only spent 2 hours here and saw most of what was available. If you want to spend longer walking around the park you can however there are better spots nearby for this type of thing. I wouldn’t go back based on its cost in comparison to much better museums and grounds.

Absolute must when in NZ.. Half price for NZ citizens. They just check you have a NZ driving license.. If you have one it’s a good deal!

Well worth it to discover the history of New Zealand. The price just test for the visit. However, I found that the museum passed a little silent treatment of natives of the island by the English throughout history.

Weren't really sure of entry price, however we were very happy that we did, show was amazing and museum is really good! If you'll travel up here you must visit this site.

Very good historical site. If you want learn more about NZ history, this is the perfect place. Guided tour during 1 hour, cultural performance during 30 minutes and you can spend all the rest of the day to visit museums (very informative) and to see the film.
