An awesome experience with Lianne in the double waka. A fantastic, informative and immersive introduction to Maori culture, and a great experience paddling as a team out on the water. We are a young couple, the other passengers with us were four other adults and a family with both grandparents and young children - obviously I can't speak for them but Lianne found ways to include everyone and ensure the kids could participate. Loved this experience and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about Maori culture and have some fun and exercise on the way!
This is brillant, go do it! Great fun to paddle the big double waka, and Lianne knows a lot about the area. Really fun for our 6 year old as well. We had the best time, highly recommended!
We had the best time om the waka, where the guide Lianne toke us, two adults and three kids on a waka trip with mostly locals, so we 12 om the waka. Lianne was great to Tel about the Maori culture and history of the area. Al where friendly, Some time to swim also from the waka ? The bedst experience for us all, our kids loved the time eventhough they did not understand every word. A god family adventure ??
A great experience on the Waka. We were 10 and our guide Cullem was very friendly. Moments of kayaking, Maori culture, legends, swimming. We go around Split Apple Rock. Short break to taste on the beach. An original way to discover the golden bay and Maori culture !!
One of our highlights on our New Zealand trip. The friendly guide and owner Lianne gave us a great insight to Maori culture. At the end we felt part of a great team. The other members were a NZ family with grand parents and a young Canadian couple. Good team spirit from the beginning on . Beautiful beaches, time to swimm. All in all a perfect trip. Whakawhetai ki a koe! Kia ora!
