The cannon is pretty small and unremarkable however the history of the canon which is written up on the wall beside it is a very interesting read of double crossings, dirty deals, murder and imprisonment. Well worth a read. The cannon is located just across the toad from the clock tower and memorial park which is lovely and worth a stroll.

Both these places were pointless. Wasted energy getting out of the camper
