Really lovely spot to stay, very friendly hosts and lots of lovely animals dotted around! Can give Matt a text with an eta (as we were arriving later on), and flexible check out too. Would really recommend!

Had a nice night here, beside the main road, traffic noise didn't bother us. Toilets closed at night, (sometime after 9pm?). Signs directed us to toilets at the lake edge, but these were also locked. As we are all self contained it wasn't an issue. Apparently there are more toilets the other side of the lake, but we didn't investigate. Bird avairy is nice, and the cockies say hello when you walk past. Have requested campermate amends the listing to show it is open, and toilets are locked at nigh
nice sea view and clean toilets. only downside is there will be cars revving, doing donuts, shining their headlights at the vans sleeping there. there were about 6-8 other vans with us so there was no need for us to feel unsafe! overall, still an ok place to camp for the night. (as of Aug 2026)
Stayed here multiple times. Some road noise, and occasional “hero” tooting repeatedly as they pass, but not really an issue. Always a pleasant stay over all.
