What a GREAT way to see the caves! The tour guide was exceptional with his knowledge. Spellbound use a cave which is privately owned so you aren’t competing with a lot of other people wanting to take selfies with the Glow worms. After the first cave we had a brew and then into the second cave to see the way the cave was formed. Definitely worth paying to have a smaller tour which is far more personal! There were only 8 on our tour (we were 5 of them) Highly recommended!

We had a great tour at spellbound! Would definitely recommend it compared to the big lines at the other glowworm caves. The tourguide, Norm, did a great job!

If you want to see the fireflies you should definitely invest a few dollars more and drive with Spellbound! Small group of ~ 12 people, super nice guide, first cave more because of the cave, in the second incredible number of fireflies, fantastic experience!

Did this other day w the kids. Impressive glowworms, a small group of 12 I think. Two caves. Glad we paid the extra as we passed the hoards going to the other caves. Small group made it way more enjoyable.

Awesome tour to see the glowworms. You should definitely do a tour with spellbound, the money is worth it! You go to a another cave than the other (cheaper) company where it will be just you and your group (we were just 8) and you will spend a long time in two different caves. Our tour guide was funny and well informed. The glowworms were breathtaking :)

It was the best guided tour! $ are unbeatable. Great tour guide. Had the luck and were altogether only four. Fireflies, sheep, NZ-Langflossenaal. Coffee and tea as well as biscuits to warm up. Our tour went, fortunately, almost 4.5 hours. It was great. 15-19: 30pm !!! Thank you thank you thank you!

... Total VIP feeling... We are very happy about our decision of doing a cave tour with Spellbound. Our guide, Norm, was so nice, funny and relaxed, you CAN only enjoy the tours with him. The first cave with the boat under an abundance of glowworms was really spectacular, the second cave was a beautiful add- on. The company deals excellently with families ( our experience!) and allows enough time where it is needed. For young kids the tour (3h!) might be a little longish, though. Still, the small groups (we were 8) make it all feel so nice and exquisite - we loved it and definitely recommend Spellbound.
