The electricity and water weren't working. Otherwise, it was very quiet. We were the only ones there.
Meet the cutest and probably hugest black pig in the area. "Graf Grunz" (Lord of the Oink) as we called him, welcomed us, as soon as we left our Van on this beautiful spot. He really loved to be pet behind the ear, lay down and oinked, till he fell into a nice nap. Toilet 1km drive away at Tourist center (very clean, flush). Def. Recommend! Please give Graf Grunz lots of love, he deserves it!
Quiet parking area, no facilities, NZD 10 per vehicle, drop off at the office until about 5 PM, otherwise in the mailbox. Approximately 10 spaces ...
Quiet (so awesome for sleeping) and flat. Only accepts cash (at least outside of limited office hours).
Great value. Lovely and quiet. No facilities but only $10! Arrived late rang mobile number on office door and put money in postal slot. Helps to have correct amt of cash.
Great spot for 10 bucks. There are hotel rooms aswel, in bootes and planes and stuff. Cool place. There was nobody else here.
A hidden treasure! Such a unique place, quiet, cheap, good 5G. Please pet the pig behind the ear - she will fall asleep! 100% recommend.
A quiet and unique spot. No noise at night, peaceful in the countryside. $10 per night for a self-contained campervan. A 5-minute drive from the cave visitor center.
Nice location, very peaceful. Put money in the letter box in the door however was still approached by the owner asking if we had paid. Only one other van here.
We spent a quiet night there for $10 with our camper van. You can get water and electricity for an extra charge. Perfect because the area doesn't seem very busy in the free areas, great! Good 5G reception
