Great and quiet site. Two bathrooms, the one was clean. So many bumblebees here
Good for one night. Nothing special. Two drop toilets which were clean. A lot of bumble bees and sandflies.
Parking lot with toilets. Crowded.
Fine for one night. They'll definitely check if you've paid. You can pick up an envelope at the checkout and fill in your information. $15 per person.
Nice basic camping. Not so many places to stay, be fast. If is full there is free parking spot where you can stay a night if your car is SC. Tee total road parking .... Enjoy.
Infested with sandflies, impossible to stay still. Definitely not worth $15.
Good for one night, the toilets are clean. Quite quiet, near a stream and a short walk from the road. Very good while waiting for the other campsites to open.
Cheaper than Kerr Bay, good more affordable alternative and you can use the facilities at Kerr Bay instead. Toilets were clean but no soap, only hand sanitiser. The water taps also didn’t work (outside the toilets). Quite a lot of sandflies but lots of space and nice views.
Very good campsite! The toilets are clean, it’s not busy in October, and there are no sandflies at the moment, which was really nice. There’s a lake where you can go ice skating in winter when it’s frozen.
Decent roadside DOC site. $15 per person (so $30 for us). Long drop ok. Campsite water unavailable. Site felt safe. Did a short walk behind the campsite. Some traffic noise overnight from SH63. Phone signal ok. A few sandflies.
