My family didn't camp, but can attest to the great welcome and comforts of the farmstay. It’s definitely not easy in your vehicle to get there! The family was very feverish to help us with late meals, and taping the broken bits of our vehicle, and even our kids had fun with their kids. We are grateful for the experience, and I think it's a great spot to camp and explore if you don't mind roughing it.
A very quiet spot, nice to see the amazing pottery creations and the creativity that had gone into the buildings. Sites arent super flat, toilets are pit, but very full and smelly. Flush toilets and hot showers at the cafe, they are very comfortable. Price is very high for a farm stay.
Great place a hidden gem off a bumpy dirt road, the kids had a ball playing around the farm in the morning. Amazing pottery and very friendly helpful staff. A big thumbs up ?
Not a lot of flat ground , best to pick up your wood on your way in ( on the dirt road ) dirt road has some corrugations on it , also best if you take your own water . The walk's are worth the effort , great place to Star gaze .
Very good location to feel good. Totally nice people and a great restaurant / coffee. German food and pizza. There is also Wifi. We got a map of the area and many great travel tips. Any time.
Nice quiet spot. Very cold overnight. The dirt road in wasn't too bad. Probably a bit rough if you don't have off road camper.
Lovely and quiet. People there are friendly and the free pottery demonstrations are great. Only drawback is the bone shaker road on the way in, badly corrugated.
We stayed here 4th Feb we have a fairly large caravan bit of a mission as it is of the Newell Highway and on an unsealed and corrugated road interesting for us as this was our first foray on these types of roads. Pilliga Pottery are here very nice you can see people at work. Lovely swimming pool we could use. There are only unpowered sites here but it was a lovely place to stay. Would have been better if it wasn't so dam hot. ??
