Comment based on a Campervan, two middle-aged adults, no children. Pre-booked and pre-paid. 3* out of 5 Quick, easy check-in. Staff friendly. Well located; walking distance to beach and local shops. Pitches felt very crowded and hemmed in. Wi-Fi satisfactory. En-suite clean-ish but basic with no hand towel provided (like others had) Hot showers.
Awesome park Awesome amenities Dog friendly local dog day care Rowdy & wife are awesome ppl put message on Evans head message board.
Nice place and location but no wifi we stayed at a beach house and couldn’t load anything. But love the room really nice
We have just had 3 weeks at the enclosed park, extremely clean and well maintained, However our site opposite the camp kitchen was void of grass for the annex which made it uncomfortable when raining, apart from that all the town amenities are only a couple of minutes walk making it easy to access. Would definitely stay again. The Shippys
Really courteous kind staff. Very clean. Ideal for families and for those who want to relax. Also ideal for jogging and sports.
Been coming here for many years but this trip we have found thousands of bats have taken up residence right next to the site. Makes for a stinky messy nousy holiday unfortunately
Nice campgrounds clean amenities. Really good communal bbq area and kids playground. Shower block plumbing needs an upgrade
Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Facilities are clean and plenty of showers and toilets. Large camping grounds and looks great for families. My partner and I was looking for a getaway with a view so we booked a lake side non powered site. At $40 per night minimum 2 night stay, we were expecting a good view with a little piece of getaway. The view wasn't bad the lake is nice going to the ocean which is a bit of a walk to the beach. However there was a public foot path right out front of the site so all day random people walking past your peace and quiet. Obviously people are going to walk past your camp site I'm fully aware of that but fellow campers are all after the same thing. The public are there for whatever purpose they choose. Now I think if you are paying the $$$ for a view and your own campsite that is what you should get.
Nice park, it was really calm though. A lot of retired people in their caravans. Facilities were clean. 35$/night for 2 persons on powered site.
Nice park with good facilities right on the beach and the river. Price was reasonable at $36/night for a powered site. Beach side is dog free and river part is dog friendly.
