There are two large campgrounds. One accessible by any vehicle type (bitumen road in), the other is down a bush track (4wd recommended, expect to take 20mins down this track). We stayed down at the latter campground and enjoyed it to ourselves. The billabong is beautiful down there and the long drops are well kept. Fire pits and tables are plentiful. Would recommend this stop if you are looking for privacy. Some of the other camps in Kakadu probably put you closer to the bigger attractions though. We had to stop for a huge Buffalo on the way out!!!

Do not try in a 2wd, watched a standard car have to get towed out of sand by a 4wd

Nice and quiet place, only 2 other campers. Droptoilets, and a table, firepit and BBQ for each spot
