Just stayed 8 days in an unpowered bush setting. A Very relaxing environment. Amenities were close by, so the best of both worlds. Mike has recycling bins to minimize rubbish which was appreciated. Mobile reception is best near the excellent camp kitchen. It was our second stay here and we would happily return again.
The campsite is a little gem. We stayed there for two nights at the beginning of October and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The sites are very spacious and beautiful. Showers and toilets are available, and the kitchen is top-notch. Michi (who's from Germany) gave us a very warm welcome and gave us some great tips on Agnes Water. It's about a 10-minute drive to Agnes Water. All in all, highly recommended, 5 out of 5 points 👍
One of the best spots we’ve found on our travels! Mike and Michi’s love for this place is obvious and we felt privileged being so welcoming into their space. Huge grassy sites in a beautiful bush setting away from the hustle and bustle but only a very short drive into Agnes and 1770. As so often happens we stayed longer than originally intended.
This fantastic campground truly exceeded our expectations. There's plenty of space, plenty of privacy, and you're surrounded by nature. A lake and a great bushwalk are also part of the experience. The new BBQ area with a microwave, kettle, and toaster is simply lovely. The showers and toilets are also new and clean. The owners are extremely helpful and easygoing. We would have loved to stay longer. $35 for an unpowered campsite is a good price.
Certainly the coolest place we camped in last say 20 years. Nature, space, privacy and the night fire in front of our camper. The lovely and professional couple who runs the camp provided us with ice from their private fridge. We will definitely be back and we strongly recommend this oasis to anyone who enjoys tranquility and peace. Mike and Dana
We stayed there for 1 evening with our camper van/van. It was great Mike is very welcoming the pitches are super big. You can plug into electrical outlets if you pay a little more. It’s super quiet, in the middle of the forest. There are super clean showers and toilets! I can only recommend!
Nice stop over in lovely bush settings, facilities clean
Lovely camping ground with a bush vibe to it while still close to town. The facilities are in good condition and clean. Mike was super friendly and easy going. Definitely recommend a stay wholeheartedly!
Fantastic bush experience. Quiet, spacious, relaxing.
A beautiful spot to stay! Nice and quiet and a super quick drive into town. The best of both worlds. Very friendly and helpful caretakers.
