Nice grassy And shady sites. Clean amenities. Food at bistro was nice and lots of it. Friendly staff.
Campsite was fine, all ameneties clean and we had a large (powered) site. Skip the food at the 'bistro' though (below standard) , bar prices were rather high, you can also buy beer etc at the shop in the pub and take it with you. Wifi near reception.
Campsite ok. Grass unpowered $30 for 2. Amenities very old but clean, lots of hot water. Meal at pub the worst we’ve ever had. Would rather not be saying this as all the young staff were great! Really substandard expensive food. Don’t waste your money.
Nice spot after/before the border. Good amenities. Practical, easy. Family style. Expect some early morning noise since it is next to the highway so there are loads of trucks. Bar is nice, but too expensive 😢
Great spot. Good toilets and showers, did not see a camp kitchen !
I stayed here Late August 2021, (the pin on the map appears to be in the wrong place going by the comments). My comment is for the campground behind the pub which you pay for inside the pub. I enjoyed my brief stay here. Good traditional outback pub. Great vibe!
Caravan park empty at the moment, but road train parking right next door so a little noisy at night. Toilets and showers quite old, almost clean. Small restaurant with many dishes, small shop. Good stopover for one night
Good place to stay for a night. There's a pool, great camp kitchen and everything is right next to the pub. Not many places for unpowered, but that's fine. There was only one more staying next to us. Showers and toilets are clean.
Nice campsite shortly before/after the border to the NT/QLD. We stayed for one night on the unpowered camping area. You can choose your spot and check in at the reception in the hotel. The lady was friendly and easy going. The amenities were clean as well. There's a toilet block with showers and a clean and spacious campkitchen with fridge and freezer! The only things that bothered us were some people outside. When we arrived and set up our camp a few cars came by, stopped, and had long look at us. Some stayed for an hour in their car. The police had to send them away and it left us with an awkward feeling. Luckily three more campers arrived on the camping area and we felt more save. Another thing we didn't like was that they don't close the gates at night. Otherwise: great spot!
Van Park campsite, on the right towards the East because there is another one opposite. Not huge but very good. Equipped kitchen, washing machine, toilet-shower with ramp for the disabled. Shower cabin with very hot water and no draft as often. Unpowered on grassy site, powered on gravel. Bungalows. A ping pong table under the kitchen shelter.
