Paid for a pwrd site via envelope in box. Nice and peaceful . No shops in the village. Pub has closed. Good amenities. Caretaker is very friendly if you happen to meet him.
Great value campsite. Was a bit worried it was closed as there were no comments since 2017! Pretty pleased to see it properly set up for power with slab for cars/caravans as in typical caravan parks. Paid $10 (inflation hasn't kicked in since 17) at a typical Aussie pub where the locals look at anyone who walks through the door. Campground opposite the police station and quite far from the pub. So pay at the pub first if coming from A3. Road to the site from A3 is not well lit and has dips so be careful driving as it's quite narrow. Also rang ahead as we pulled up at 7pm. Kitchen closed at 7pm too.
Quiet campsite set back from a small village with trees. 10 aud for 2 people with electricity, to pay at the hotel bar. Sanitary simple but clean. Toilet and hot shower! Extending for the linen. Tables covered in case of rain.
