Made a detour of more than 50 km to get to Victoria Lake. The last 4 km were corrugated dirt roads, only to arrive at a locked gate and a closed road. No warning where I started, no alternative route, and no way to reach the lake. A lot of driving, dust, and time wasted for absolutely nothing. Very disappointing

Fantastic spot. We were a little hesitant that we had the right spot because there was a gate, so if you find the gate you’re at the right spot! Camp as described, great night stop over. Perfect for our little family.

This small place along Lake Victoria is a beautiful location for self contained vehicles. Plenty of safe locations to have a fire overlooking the lake, and plenty of sites to yourself. 100% recommend.

A beautiful, quiet place on the lake. We loved it :) There are no sanitary facilities, so bring enough water. Please leave this grandiose place as you found it: clean and unique!
