Great central spot. Quick and easy walk to shops/pub/cafes. Huge grounds, any setup friendly (family/pet/solo/big rig). Spacious unpowered grass sites (cannot comment on powered). Clean toilets/showers ($1 for 3min). Camp kitchen has hob & air fryer. Site has dump point and plenty of bins. Solid Optus signal, no WiFi. Some evening flies (take repellent if this bothers you). Fires OK, firewood for sale $20/20kg opposite reception. Excellent value at $20/night. Highly recommend!

Big spacious site- stopped here after Australia zoo as a stop off before driving further up the coast. Had to pay extra for the showers-$2 for 4 min shower. Showers were dirty, full of flies and spiders. Over all the bathrooms made this experience very poor, didn’t enjoy this site.

Lovely friendly campground, nice grass field basic but clean showers. Short walk to the town and pub. Ti's is my first choice when in the area €20 unpowered.

Stayed here from 27-31/12/24. Check in was really easy. The friendly Caretaker was great & had us on our site within 5 mins. Cost was $30 per night on a powered site. I had requested a site close to the amenities, due to health reasons, & the site we received was excellent. It really is a great place to stay, nice & close to the shops & Kenilworth Dairy, & a short 4 min walk to the local pool. (M-F: 1pm to 4pm, Weekends: 10am to 4pm. Adults: $5, Concession: $4). Showers are $1 for 4 mins.

the price has gone up in under 12 months. You have to pay a gold coin for the showers which were unclean with built up mold and dust

Showground has a caretaker onsite. Prefer bookings however can still rock up and contact them on arrival to be given a site. Great location and great little town

Had a great time even when the low from cyclone Debbie arrived the showgrounds handled the torrential rain & winds - thanks to the caretakers for looking after the grounds and when it got busy fitting everyone in for easter... We'll be back??

It's actually $18 for a powered site, and $15 unpowered. Nice place. Note: showers in far side amenities block and not in the one closest to the hall.
