A big sign says NO caravans We drive 5 hrs to get here, no reviews on No caravans & we have a 14 foot van & was not sure to drive Their Very Pxxd off

Drop toilets disgusting I completely understand that this is a free campsite however we did not stay here because the facilities were unusable bugs ALL OVER toilet seat so dirty so for my ladies out there you will not want to use this toilet gents standing you could probably cope such a shame because the rest of the site was lovely.

A beautiful spot to camp. There were 4 other campers when we arrived and another 5 pulled in. Longdrop toilet wash clean but of course smells. A quiet night followed by a beautiful misty morning and very little traffic on the road. I'd definitely come back again

Nice spot Very busy but everyone was friendly and quiet

We arrived late last night (9pm) and there were already a few other campers there. There was still enough space and everything was very clean and quiet. The toilets are very clean pit toilets, there is a hand basin but no drinking water or soap. It was also very quiet in the morning, great green meadows and a beautiful sunrise. I didn't see any homeless people. The signs say that you are allowed to stay for one night.

Drived on Tuesday and had a look, very overgrown. 3 people living there by the look of it. Did not feel safe so driven on.

Decent field area to camp. Right beside the road. Pit toilets were gross, hold your breath! Garbage bins available. Glad it was free:)

Probably one of my favourite free camp spots. Massive grassy sectioned off area just to sit with lots of tables. Clean bbqs and toilet. HEAPS of bins. For the month of July September they’re redoing a local bridge and some resurfacing so there’s some nightworks 5 minutes away that they used the camp group to store the machinery when they finished at 7am, they were as quiet as possible though!

Nice spot! We went on Jan 1st and still have plenty of space. The bathroom was really dirty however still worth ?
